Here's another news flash from our friends at Tennessee Firearms Association about an upcoming 2 hour radio broadcast for listeners in Tennessee and elsewhere:

With the help of Bob Pope and other radio sources, TFA representatives are receiving a significant amount of time on the air and on internet streaming sources talking about the interests of gun owners and hunters in Tennessee this year.

This week, on Thursday, 2/19/09, Pat McGarrity (TFA's Shelby Chapter leader), John Harris and GOA Executive Director, Larry Pratt, will be guests on the nationally syndicated radio program, News & Views, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM CST with hosts who are also TFA Members, Chuck Bates and Dr. Larry Bates.

The show will also be live on News & Views, which is heard nationally as well as across Tennessee in Memphis on AM 1600 WMQM, Nashville on AM 1300 WNQM, and the Tri-Cities on WMCH AM 1260.

The two hour program will be an in depth discussion of the 2nd Amendment and how to protect it on a local, state and national basis. We may also get into topics such as weapon selection, carry options, tactics and self defense. Chuck and Larry Bates are true defenders of our gun rights and we appreciate this opportunity.
